This is the BEST vegan cheese sauce you can make. It's vegan, gluten-free, guilt-free, dare I say 'healthy'? Nut-free, and major allergen-free, and it comes together in under 30 minutes easily! Vegan Cheese Sauce, Cashew-Free has got the BEST smooth, glossy texture! My dairy-eating friends love it, and request it on repeat! Incredibly versatile: use for mac 'n cheese, over baked potatoes, in enchiladas or tacos, over a rice bowl, over broccoli, in casseroles. Ready in under 30 minutes.


Most vegan cheese sauce recipes contain cashews. If you have IBS like me, this recipe is for you! Or, if you're concerned about giving your kiddos nuts, this is for you! Or, even if you're just looking to lighten up your meals by reducing fat, this is for you! I'm obsessed with how great this sauce turns out and will keep using it on as many things as I can think up.  I have three versions: Basic Vegan Cheese Sauce featured here, which is smooth, mild and creamy and Vegan Beer Cheese Dip for a bit more spice and flavor (and adult audience). And, a thick version used in Vegan GF Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Try them all!
